We always start with an audit of the existing setup to review its state and be able to properly estimate the effort it'd take to address any found issues. With DevOps implementation projects, we dedicate a DevOps team for the project duration, and the team's architect becomes your primary point of contact, helping you make strategic decisions and guiding you through all the steps. For support projects, you get a Slack channel dedicated to your project where our SRE team handles all requests and alerts.

We're pretty flexible, and pick what works best for a particular project depending on the requirements and amount of interaction needed with your team. We're comfortable with Agile methodologies as well as waterfall - as long as we get to deliver the best results and communicate them transparently. For most of the projects, fixed price/fixed duration model is ideal, but we can resort to time and material for work where it is difficult to estimate the effort in advance (data migration or troubleshooting).

We get to deliver the bulk of implementation in the just a few days: we practice Infrastructure as Code which means we get to reuse a lot of solutions our R&D team has released. In a typical infrastructure project, about 75% is built with our modules and the rest is customized to account for all the specifics of the application. This has become so common for us that we've created an entire product called Infrasnap which is basically a production-ready cloud infrastructure that has everything your application needs, provisioned within a day with support for multiple environments (production, development, testing, etc).

Yes! We've built a lot of setups that pass compliance audits (PCI DSS, SOC2 of both types, ISO27001) and we also help with establishing the process and policies.

We are a vendor - we take full responsibility for your project's infrastructure while we work on it and get things done in the most effective way possible. Aside from regular demo sessions between milestones, our teams get together for a troubleshooting or brainstorm, or a training/tutorial. We make sure the communication supplements the process and doesn't hinder it: at the planning stage, we define the communication points and outline all the tasks our teams need to collaborate on, then try to integrate into your process as seamlessly as possible. Even when our work is fully isolated from the application development (which is rare) we make sure to deliver weekly updates.
