Please describe your company and your position there.

We are an IT Company developing our own products but also provide outsourcing work for our clients


For what projects/services did your company hire Core Recruit?

We had a spike of work with one of our clients and needed fast 3 Scrum teams, ranging from Seniors to Juniors in order to be able to perform the additional work and deliver the best results for which we are known.

What were your goals for this engagement?

We wanted the best candidates who besides their technical knowledge would also be a very good fit with our organization from work ethics but also organizational culture points of view. Keeping in mind that Cluj-Napoca is a strongly developed IT hub and with very high demands in terms of personnel.


How did you select this vendor?

When i joined the company there was already a service provider but the results were not very encouraging. Having worked with Cristina before, we have set-up a meeting discussed the requirements and went for a pilot phase.

During the pilot phase with Core Recruit - other vendors were also contacted and discussed to but we have decided to wait for the pilot to finish.

After the pilot phase has ended given the very good results we have continued to go into a steady business relationship which continues even today based on the good results.

Describe the engagement in detail.

We had meetings in order to discuss the candidate profile and job requirements and after that they would interview and present us with shortlisted candidates for final interviews.

Core Recruit would also send weekly/bi-weekly status reports on the candidates seen and project status. They are good communicators, proactive and have a knack for identifying just the right people for the given role.

What was the team composition?

I had a direct communication line both to the recruiter but also to Cristina who is managing our account and we were able to clearly solve any bottlenecks or tricky situations which appeared.


Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to receive very good candidates and also to fill in very fast the positions required, the candidates who they presented and joined us are performing well and overall everyone came out winning from this engagement. From a cost perspective we are more than pleased given the quality and efficiency of Core Recruit.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a very efficient workflow - communication was direct and all the feedback was taken into consideration immediately (from both sides). They have shown high degrees of flexibility and understanding of all that was required from them.

What did you find most impressive about this vendor?

Their dedication to the project was impressive. Am sure they are doing this with all their clients, but it's a trait which makes you feel valued and reassured that they will complete the task on time and with good results.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Where i think they would need improvement is in the way they present some data (candidate CV/Profile). It would be really helpful if they develop their own personal template - would strengthen their position on the market even more.
