In 2012, the seeds of Continuous Composites began with a stab of fiber glass and a realization that composites manufacturing was a problem waiting to be solved. Also motivated to find a solution to the weak materials, slow print speeds, and small build volumes that plagued traditional 3D printing; CF3D® was born. Continuous Composites was founded in 2015 with the world’s earliest patents (2012) on printing with continuous fibers.
