I’m the director of digital marketing for a retail boutique.

What challenge were you trying to address with Conspire Agency?

They provided us with web development services, site maintenance, and application development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our partnership began when we brought them on to migrate our site from Magento to Shopify Plus. Then they helped us redesign, redevelop, and relaunch that site.

Once they completed that project, they began developing a number of custom applications. One of the apps they developed helps us with order fulfillment. They also created metadata for the product pages on the apps.  Recently, they started helping us with research to assess different solutions and tools.  

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people directly, including a co-founder and one of the lead developers.

How did you come to work with Conspire Agency?

I was not a part of the selection process. When I came on board, the partnership was ongoing.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve had them on retainer for three years now. Our partnership began in January 2018 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The projects they’ve worked on have certainly helped us grow. We’ve definitely earned a positive ROI.  It is a good partnership overall.  

How did Conspire Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We predominantly use email to communicate, but we also use Trello for ticket management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very eager to learn.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement, but I can’t think of anything they need to improve on.

Be clear on what your expectations are and what your needs are.

Our company sells a product direct-to-consumer (D2C), and my role is head of marketing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Conspire Agency?

We needed help launching our D2C website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Conspire Agency helped with the complete design and development of our website, which was built on the Shopify platform. They established the overall design, both in terms of a fully responsive site and layout. Our product is quite complex, so we had to lay out and share information in a way that would be easy to follow for a consumer.

When we launched, we were just selling preorders. Conspire Agency helped us set up that process and our whole e-commerce platform. They helped us complete phase one. The team has helped us with some ongoing changes. We recently engaged them for a second project, so we’ve been happy with their work.

What is the team composition?

Our main contacts are Daniel (Founder) and Jack (CRM Specialist). Another person helps with the design process. 

How did you come to work with Conspire Agency?

We went through a thorough process. We looked at companies with recommendations and reviews on Shopify’s partner platform. We looked at different profiles and portfolios, and we reached out to a few different companies whose work we liked. After narrowing down our list, we decided to go with Conspire Agency. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $30,000–$50,000 on the initial project.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We hit the goals we wanted to hit as a company. This was a large effort with many different levers. Overall, it was successful. We launched our site, and it has been working well.

How did Conspire Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They are good at meeting deadlines. We can always count on them to provide prompt feedback. If there are questions or concerns, they are always great at getting back to us with answers. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their experience with the Shopify platform is impressive. They clearly know Shopify well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The project will work better if you are able to give them details about what you are looking for. This is the case working with any agency. The more direction or information you can provide about what your goals are, the better they’ll be able to meet your needs and expectations.
