In cinema, he participated in the most important festivals in the world, such as Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, Venice, and Toronto, and was responsible for the box office hits Vai Que Cola, Eu Tu Eles (Special Mention of Un Certain Regard) and 2 Filhos de Francisco – Brazil's official nomination for the Oscar for Best Foreign Film.
