BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the general manager of Fenaol Coffee. The company was founded in 2014, and it’s a wholesale coffee beans roaster, exporter, and local seller.

What challenge were you trying to address with Connect Media?

I’d had difficulty finding the services I wanted since founding the company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Connect Media designed my logo, packaging, website, and Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. My website is still under construction.

What is the team composition?

I worked with 5–6 people from their team.

How did you come to work with Connect Media?

A friend of mine told me about them, I contacted them, and Connect Media came to my office to pitch their idea. I liked their proposal, and I also looked at their previous work.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost was 31,000 Ethiopian birrs (approximately $900 USD). The logo design cost around 6,000 birrs and the coffee packaging was 25,000 birrs.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with Connect Media between February–June 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve gotten good feedback from customers about our packaging design. Connect Media’s execution was magnificent, and I’m beyond satisfied.

How did Connect Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They were good at planning and executing on those plans. It was a good collaboration from inception to completion. They delivered the work on time. We communicated through email and phone calls, and they gave me weekly updates about the work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very good at planning, they have a simple way of pitching their ideas, and they have fair pricing. They understood what I wanted and implemented it according to my needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Creativity is key in this field, and I think they could improve in this sense. They have good potential, but I think they need more experience.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Connect Media is a good, ambitious team with good pricing, and they can deliver good results. I’d recommend them to anyone.
