BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the CMO of a luxury menswear brand. We create and globally distribute clothing for the modern man using techniques gleaned from years of experience.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Conflux?

We needed help with the UX design of our website. We wanted to understand any weak points in our old website through UX research, make it more user friendly and improve accessibility.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We met with a couple of Italian agencies and ended up choosing Conflux because they are 100% UX-focused and understood our business needs.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The project began with a very detailed analysis of our website to identify and correct problems with the user experience and pinpoint accessibility issues. A data analytics dashboard was then set up to further investigate user behaviors and spot strategic directions that would guide the redesign process.

Next, wireframes were created based on both the needs of the business and development team. A "mobile-first" approach was adopted for the project, so the Conflux team first created detailed wireframes for mobile devices and then adapted them for desktop.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We regularly worked with eight teammates from Conflux: five UX Designers, two UX Researches and a Digital Accessibility Specialist.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were really pleased with the results of our collaboration with the Conflux Research & Design Team. Thanks to their experience and professionalism, it was possible to improve the UX of the website (both desktop and mobile versions), making our many services intuitive to use as well as conversion-oriented.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was really synergistic, with Conflux and our team working very closely during every stage of the project. Our teams were in constant contact and we had video calls weekly to discuss any questions and define next steps. Their team was extremely well-prepared, and respectful of our time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their whole team is highly trained, professional, and passionate about their work. They fit in right away with our team and always made themselves available for questions or advice. I was also impressed by their attention to detail and understanding of our business needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, they’ve done a great job. They check all the boxes.
