Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Founder and General manager for Dingis Baby Boutique, we are an online baby store providing baby accessories including and not limited to cots, travel systems, toys, feeding and nursery.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire The Commerce People, and what were your goals?

I approached The Commerce People to help increase my Online sales for my Baby Store. I had been self-managing my DTC website and Marketplace. I was investing and implementing my own paid ad campaigns, however, I wasn't seeing a a significant enough return on investment with only 7 units sold Jan-June 2022.

The Commerce People offers brands and businesses leading SaaS and managed service solutions designed to accelerate revenue growth through improved performance in online retail marketplaces and eCommerce digital advertising efforts. This seemed like the perfect fit for my business.

To include Sponsored Ads on Takealot driving to the Dingis Baby Boutique product page. They used Google tags and Facebook pixel tracking to follow the user journey and record the number of sales achieved through the campaign. Through Ignite, a bespoke reporting dashboard, they were able to measure the paid ads performance in real-time, with the Team quickly optimising towards better ROAS and ACOS metrics.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The account manager is very good with communicating, we were always updated through email, teams meetings, monthly reports, ad spends, monthly advertising budgets, strategy and planning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dashboard, Ignite, is a very good tool for us as clients because then we can see exactly where we are in terms of sales through all social platforms and online market places. customer analytics, customer behaviour, basket size, product inventory and also search terms where we can measure what potential customers are searching for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are very comfortable with their management style and project management. We have worked mostly with the account manager and it was a very effective and seamless project. We will still be using them for our marketing moving forward
