About Us
The Columbia Glass Company opened in a small store front in Columbia, Connecticut in 1953. It moved to its current location in 1968 and was incorporated as Columbia Glass, Inc. that year. As the company grew, it enlarged its space to twice its original size. From servicing just the local area, it has expanded to servicing communities in Windham, Tolland, New London and Hartford counties. Specialty work has been done as far away as New Haven and Long Island.
Columbia Glass, Inc. has provided both commercial and residential products and service to Eastern Connecticut since 1953. Our staff is innovative in their design applications and we keep abreast of all the latest materials and installation techniques.
The ownership encourages women and students to excel in business and is pleased to have had the opportunity to train and work with many young people. Students from Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon, Windham High School, E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, and Windham Tech have continued to grow their knowledge and expertise working with Columbia Glass.
Columbia Glass, Inc. continues to grow while retaining a local small business identity. The staff has developed solid working relationships with both our residential and commercial customers. We provide services and products to many educational and municipal facilities. Our clients trust and depend on us to provide the best products available and
make honest and insightful recommendations to help meet their requirements.
