For what projects/services did your company hire CloudPanda.io?

We have an app that was running on bare metal hosting. Costs were very high, so we wanted to optimize that.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

CloudPanda was recommended by one of our employees. We contacted them and asked for a solution proposal. CloudPanda suggested migration to AWS, presented cost estimation which we approved.

It was pretty effortless from our side. We explained our current architecture on several meetings. CloudPanda set up AWS environments in one week and deployed our app there. We run few rounds of testing to make sure all functionality is preserved and went live with new environments.

One senior devops consultant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We got rid of costly bare metal hosting. Currently we are paying only for the resource we use which greatly reduced our running costs. We also have possibility to quickly scale up or down if needed, which was not possible on old setup.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Flawless. CloudPanda engineer asked precise questions at the beginning and we did not have to participate in the process. They also gave us overview of new environment and are providing support if needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Speed of implementation, as well as it's simplicity. We expected cloud migration to be much more time and resource consuming effort.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I see now.

We're friends from college with one of the guys.

We were banned on shared hosting platform because of huge traffic increasement. I asked CloudPanda.io for help related to migration to dedicated servers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Matarnia24.pl (former Klukowo.com) has never went down since situation with shared hosting, we've got 100% uptime.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

After the incident site was online again after few hours, whole migration has finished during one month.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were really fast in making the website available again.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't see anything.

I hired Daniel to help me with the Terraform infrastructure, he was fast responsible, and I keep using him for daily maintenance.

I found Daniel online he was from Poland, I have a big experience working with a Polish devs. I reach out to him, we had a call, he was very nice, and knowledgeable, help my lead dev to setup the infrastructure.

The scope is was setup Amazon server and Mango DB for start working and also for fast deployment, we still working together to continue support any issues

I had just one guy, doing dev ops he still working with me.

I am happy with the work so far :)

CloudPanda help us to set up and maintain our cloud infrastructure on DigitalOcean and the Oracle Cloud.

We have chosen CloudPanda because their quality of services convinced us.

CloudPanda is assisting us for over 2 years now. For instance, they have set up our entire cloud infrastructure (complex docker infrastructure and a mariadb db system) in a redudant cloud setup for test and prod with performance, maintenance and security (Oauth 2.0) in mind.

We have one DevOps engineer working for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The cloud migration was a great success. Now we have a secure and reliable way to set up our systems, and an automated fallback mechanism in case of any issues.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We mostly communicate over Skype.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team has taken over our existing infrastructure on Digital Ocean and taken it to the next level. Further, they added a second cloud provider to support for a multicloud infrastructure.

There are few such suppliers on the market, and this one immediately seemed very good

We support them in infrastructure maintenance on daily basis, starting from 2020. Configuration of all platform servers has been moved to ansible and is managed in automated way.

I have worked with one supplier, but I do not remember his position.

The cooperation is still going on, the engineers are awesome, and we definitely like it.

The workflow between us is very effective. We get quick and specific answers. The infrastructure is stable and there is no failures.

Our site was hosten on on-premise hardware what generated issues with scalability. We asked CloudPanda.io for migration to cloud environment.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with Daniel some time ago, so asked him again for help.

Basically that was pretty easy - we just specified our requirements regarding the scalability and cost limits. As a reply we got cloud transition plan with approximate costs estimations. Finally decided to use Hetzner Cloud instead of AWS because of better instances prices. Migration was very smooth without any impact for our customers.

We were working with 3 DevOps enigneers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Finally we were able to abandon on-premise hosted hardware, cloud version is much cheaper to maintain.

We got some tips regarding the software updates which were required to implement on our side. Cooperation between DevOpses from CloudPanda.io and our development team was very good.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their cooperation was very valuable. they always explained us what we didn't know (technology or processes).
