I have a private psychotherapy and counseling practice.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with The Cloud Accountant, LLC?

I contact them before the tax deadline and bring any receipts, bank statements, and documents from consulting work I’ve done. I go to them and say: “I need my taxes done.” They do my taxes.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They do my tax accounting. We sit down for a couple of hours and do my taxes.

What is the team composition?

I’m working with one person. There’s a receptionist at the front, but other than that it’s just one person.

How did you come to work with The Cloud Accountant, LLC?

In the past, I’ve had a number of different providers. I previously had H&R Block, but when I moved to a new office, I noticed there was an accountant down the street. She seemed nice — I liked the sign and she turned out to be great.

How much have you invested with them?

She charged between $450–$500.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started in March of 2019. She’s doing my taxes again in 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It makes me feel at ease. If I were doing this myself, it’d be a mess. I’d be annoyed if I had to do it by myself. She does everything in one fell swoop and holds my hand through the whole thing. It takes less time and it’s worth a lot to me.

How did The Cloud Accountant, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

She communicates well and is very organized throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The thing that I love the most is that if I need a piece of paper or information, she will figure it out and take care of it. She is on top of whatever it is. I don’t need to think about it; there’s no procrastination.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing is that I’m often in a rush and I would like to get things done. She’s very personable and creates a lovely atmosphere, but I’m a little anxious and what the taxes to be completed.
