Our Story

ChegTech is a one-person web design and SEO agency based in Auburn, Washington, serving small businesses across the Seattle area and the broader Pacific Northwest. I founded it in June 2025 to give local service businesses a third option between a stale template site they can't update and a $15,000 agency build they shouldn't have to pay for. Every site I ship is custom-built — no WordPress, no Squarespace, no Wix.

Typically after getting in touch with us, if you are within our local area of Greater Seattle, scheduling an in-person meeting is best. However if that is not possible we also schedule online meetings, via Google meetings. After the initial meeting we get a better understanding of what the clients needs are and what exactly they want their websites purpose to be, organic traffic, portfolio, a competitive local service website, etc... After a few days we create a prototype for the client and receive their feedback on the work. After the 1st week the website is around 75% complete, and the rest as in Keyword Research and final touches are being done in week 2. Then we have another final meeting with the client to showcase the final results. The whole process usually takes 2 weeks, can be longer if client takes longer times for responses on crucial information regarding their business. After a successful second meeting, we either handoff the website to the client if they wish to host and maintain the website themselves, if not we offer hosting + upkeep + maintenance on the website for $150/month with additional other features to give the client the biggest bang for their buck.

We measure success based on our clients success, with out Basic monthly plan we setup analytics for each website to ensure every client is succeeding in their websites performance and traffic. We hear every clients feedback and we can confirm their feedback with the statistics we build from those analytics.

We work with up 2 clients per week. Considering we have a smaller sized team, to offer and ensure the same quality service this is the current number we are capping ourselves out weekly.

Turnaround time depends on the scope of the project, average turnaround time is 1.5 - 2 weeks.
