I hired Channel Craft to help me script a VSL and then also handle post-production of animating that VSL.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The first script I received from them was written by ChatGPT. I fed it into an AI detector, and it read 86% ChatGPT. When I brought this up to them, they argued and tried to gaslight me into believing that it wasn't written by ChatGPT, when it obviously was. It looked exactly like ChatGPT output and came up as AI in multiple AI detectors.

Then they wrote another script, which just wasn't very compelling for a VSL. Finally, I wrote the script myself and shared it with them. The animations were not compelling at all; they didn't really add much explanation or educational content to the video.

I then created 15 minutes of actual storyboarding out the animations on a whiteboard to make their job really easy and then explain that we would need to continue to discuss the rest of the storyboarding together. They said I was not allowed to talk to their editor; that's just not allowed. 
I said, "Well, How do we get on the same page if I can't actually communicate with the people on my project?" Overall, the entire project felt like I was pulling teeth and bending over backwards just to basically do all the work for them. It was a waste of time and money. I would never work with them again.

They refused to let me talk to the people who were actually working on the project, creating communication barriers and a game of telephone that always resulted in bad outcomes for our project.
