I’m an IT consultant at AFNAM Information Technology, an IT service company. We also do mobile application development and e-commerce development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ceymox?

We needed someone to do a source code audit for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did a source code audit for a mobile application. We gave our project to one company and once we retrieved all the source code, we assigned it to Ceymoux to find out if there were any underlying issues. They did the code auditing and gave us the report which helped us to understand the underlying issues. It’s a local service order application.

So far, they’ve given us an e-commerce proposal based on Magento and one customer application development. 

What is the team composition?

For the mobile application, there was one resource and one product owner. We’ve worked with a total of 2–3 people.

How did you come to work with Ceymox?

I found them in a Google search for Magento development companies in India.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $800.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–November 2020. When we’re ready for further e-commerce development, we will consider their proposal.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their response was precise. There weren’t any time delays. Whenever they had any real issues, they didn’t beat around the bush. They were really stable and delivered as promised.

How did Ceymox perform from a project management standpoint?

Their timely delivery and communication impressed me. They were really smooth and efficient. We just gave them the source code and the backend. They did their work and submitted the report. I was really happy. We communicated via email and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They communicate well. Their technical jargon was all easy to understand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We used to schedule a call, use email, and Slack but it’d be nice to have just one single tool for communication.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before starting, give them the proper scope of work. Share all the documents or requirements you have. Then you won’t have to worry about anything. They’ll do whatever you want.

We needed someone to fix a few issues on our website.

They fixed nearly 20 bugs on our Magento 2.21 website. We were mainly focusing on loading time issues. There were other bugs as well. 

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with the project manager and the key developer primarily. There were 5–6 people on the team including a few developers and a few designers.

How did you come to work with Ceymox?

The price was really competitive. They were transparent and ready to explain everything.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June–July 2020. The project length was 15 days.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When we approached them, our website loading time was nearly 20 seconds and now it’s at 4-6 seconds. What they promise, they deliver.

How did Ceymox perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, there was an issue with oral communication. We changed the project manager though which helped. Written communication and email communication were really effective. They were very detailed and met deadlines. Their pricing was really competitive. They’re very transparent in their approach.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were always supportive. They were available when I needed them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, there was the oral communication issue but later they fixed it by changing the person and it was good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking for an agency, they are trustworthy. If you’re concerned about pricing, Ceymox is the best option.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am IT manager of the leading photography wholesale and retail distribution store.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ceymox, and what were your goals?

We hired Ceymox to redesign and revamp our e-commerce website. They also helped with the integration of different services like payment gateway, text, email, etc. Our main goal was to make the website functioning and more appealing to the customers.

How did you select Ceymox and what were the deciding factors?

Ceymox team was very approachable and responsive to our needs. They were transparent in what can/cannot be achieved and also provided valuable and timely feedback to give us confidence in going with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The website was created using WordPress/Woocommerce. We had multiple discussions over the requirement document created. They asked excellent questions and came up with great points on what can be done.

They came up with mockups and made sure we are completely satisfied with it. Development work started after that and they made sure all the issues we logged were addressed in a timely manner. Transitioning from the old server and setting up everything on the new one was seamless for us in the end.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our customers loved the new look of the website and it was user friendly as well. We have been getting online orders much better compared to what we had earlier.

We communicated with their Project Manager over phone, emails and WhatsApp. We used google sheets to track issues and deliverables. He was always available if we had any questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood what we wanted and was willing to work with us and help us get where we wanted. There were situations when we had to sway away from the original requirements, but they were very accommodative to our needs and helped us throughout the process.
