Cegedim Romania is a well-established, innovative technology and services company joining the activities of two business units: Cegedim Health Data (CHD) and Cegedim Healthcare Software (CHS). Through its unique positioning, Cegedim Romania offers to its customers, either healthcare professionals or pharmaceutical executives a wide range of solutions for the local healthcare ecosystem.

Cegedim Health Data (CHD) presence is to be identified with the early pharmaceutical market research in Romania. CHD local activities were initially developed around the sales statistics and continuously developed to meet customers’ evolving needs, providing:
•    sales data on medicines, nutritional supplements, medical devices and dermatocosmetic products, at national and territory level
•    essential insights coming from analysis of dispensed prescriptions in the retail channel (patients’ profile, treatment patterns, reimbursement regime)
•    complex models of data analysis by integrating various data sets 
In 2019, CHD launched Real World Data as part of the European THIN™ project, offering access to anonymized patient healthcare data and an insightful perspective about GPs’ practice.

Cegedim Healthcare Software (CHS) provides complete software solutions for healthcare professionals, being one of the most important providers of pharmacy and medical offices software in Romania. A long experience starting from the first management software for pharmacies in 1998 and the dedicated solution for medical offices in 2005, have been enriched year by year so today, one third of Romanian retail pharmacies and a quarter of medical offices and healthcare centers are using CHS applications: Pharmec Farmacie™ and Pharmec Cabinet™. A comprehensive and interactive drugs database (Base Claude Bernard™), fully integrated into Pharmec™ suite and also available in online version, secures the medicines circuit, helping healthcare professionals to provide highly customizable services to their patients.
