CAVU Labs

CAVU Labs helps established companies figure out what's worth building with AI, then builds it. Operators and engineers with decades in the seat lead every engagement, working with AI tools that let us move faster than a traditional firm ever could.

Every business has an A to B. A is where you are today. B is where you want to go. The path between them is rarely obvious, and AI has made it both more possible and more confusing. We help you find the right path, then we build it.

Four practices

• Operating Advisory. Judgment from people with decades in the seat. We sit on your side of the table, ask the questions that matter and tell you what we actually think.
• Governance & Security. Guardrails for how your company uses, builds, and protects with AI. We find what's running, put real controls in place, and give your people a governed place to build.
• Data Engineering. AI is only as good as the data underneath it. We connect your systems, clean and structure your data, and build the foundation AI and software need. Sensitive data stays inside your walls.
• AI & Software Engineering. Custom applications, AI agents, and modernization of the systems you already run, built to enterprise standards.

How we work

Every engagement starts with a Build Case: a paid engagement, led by a Principal Analyst, that ends with a clear answer on what's worth building, what isn't, what it will take, and what it's worth to the business. From there the work follows the Throughline Process: Define, Architect, Engineer, Fortify, Launch, Evolve.

The people behind CAVU Labs bring 100+ years of combined experience and 100+ enterprise systems designed and built, across 20+ industries. Our founder was co-founder and CEO of an enterprise software company that grew from two people to more than 120 before it was sold in 2021.
