Our company began its journey back in 1929 when Joseph Carpenter started a delivery service out of his own house. With one canvas back truck he made deliveries between Burlington and Middlebury, Vt. He established a loyal customer base that has grown many times over through the years. While there have been many changes and developments in all of those years, the succeeding generations at Carpenters have all stayed close to those founding principals of good business.
