A BIT ABOUT ME
My career began in a newsroom, and it thrived on collaboration, strong writing, and peer editing. It was so invigorating that I took on a second job as a content editor and writer at a different local newspaper. I never expected to make a career shift to the tech startup world, but a sudden opportunity to move to New York City led me down an adventurous path of partnering with some of the top C-level tech executives in the country. After nearly six years as an executive assistant at various startups, I decided to quit my job in tech and dive back into the world I loved but with a new twist: a commitment to full-time freelancing and working with copy aimed at making a difference.
I have my BFA in Creative Writing with a nonfiction concentration and a minor in English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and am also a CPD Certified Proofreader.
My husband and I relocated to Boise, Idaho in 2022, and we have loved living in the West. And yes, Idaho has more than just potatoes.
