I already worked with them before for payroll services in 2017. After that, I continued to have a personal relationship with them until we needed them for outside legal counsel work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in March 2019, and we continue to work with them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s difficult to say the project’s results because things are still pending, but we’re impressed by the way they read things and how they prepare briefs. On top of that, they have solid counterarguments. Overall, I feel like we’re working with a group that has the best strategy.
How did Carlsbad Law Group LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
They do a great job of communicating and keeping us in the loop about the status of their work. They also have an effective project management workflow.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They share facts instead of sugarcoating things. Instead of telling us that our project will flow smoothly, they mention all the possible scenarios that can happen. They also share what they’re going to do to prevent the worst-case scenario from happening. Overall, I really appreciate their transparency.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They can be more aggressive, but I’m not sure if it’s a real critique of their work since different professions have different ways of doing things. Other than that, we’re confident in their legal skills.

Trust that they’ll do their part in the project and that they’ll keep you in the loop.
