Established in 1950, Capitol Glass Company Inc is the oldest locally-owned and operated glass company in the Little Rock area.

Capitol Glass Co., Inc. moved to its present location at 8th and Broadway Street in 1953. The two original owners were Bernard Sharp and Roy Pruitt and their key employee was Jack Grimes. Mr. Pruitt passed away in 1961, Mr. Sharp retired in 1976, and Mr. Grimes retired in 1990. The present owner, Glenn Grimes, is the son of Jack Grimes. Glenn grew up in the glass business and began full time employment with Capitol Glass Co., Inc. in 1972.
