Our organization was working to build an educational product combined with Artificial Intelligence in order to deliver a valuable learning experience for another organization that we had been working with. The major challenge that we had been facing was of a company which was well versed both in Software Development and real-life AI implementation. Our goal was to deliver a product that was easy-to-use, flexible according to our customer’s needs, and robust to cater to a huge number of students and large volumes of data. **SOLUTION** How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We got to know of ByteCorp from a close friend, who had previously worked with them on another data intensive application. As with many other vendors, we conducted multiple interviews with their team, both in the area of Software Development as well as AI. Previously, over interviewed vendors either had an edge in AI, or in Software Product Development. With ByteCorp, what we observed was that their team was well-versed in both the domains, and had an in-depth understanding of AI application in our proposed idea, which is usually rare amongst many companies that claim to be doing AI. Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The project started off with a requirements gathering session where we explained to the team what we are actually looking for. A project proposal along with the project plan was submitted to us, with a detailed breakdown of all the tasks that were to be performed. A design phase was then kicked off, where the design team at ByteCorp worked with us iteratively to first produce the Information Architecture, then the wireframes, and then finally the mockups and prototype. Even before any code was written, we had a complete idea of what our product would look like. The development phase was then kicked off and web application and an admin mobile application was built as per our needs. The technologies that were used were React, Node.JS, and Flutter for Mobile App. The feature list was extensive including student learning behavior, live classes, student progress, notes and past paper provision, and many more. After the development was completed, we released the product to our users. More than 15000 Students were using the provided product within the organization that we provided the system. The general feedback was highly positive with close to 97% positive reviews from our users. With the AI system provided, we observed a 46% improvement in the results of the organization. This was more than we had anticipated and we were highly satisfied with the results. Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. The team followed a Kanban style approach for the development of our project. This was because as a product under development, we had multiple changes coming in with time depending on the user’s feedback. The tools that they used were Notion for Product Management, and Slack for communication. For design, they used Figma to demonstrate to us. The timelines were generally met as proposed, with a slight delay in the delivery of the AI module, due to the flow rate of the data that was to come from our users, and it turned out to be slower than expected initially. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? The two factors that really stood out was: Communication: The team was extremely responsive to our queries and complaints. Even after repeated changes, the team was open to cater for more until we were completely satisfied. To help achieve safer roads and facilitate the industry to counter the aforementioned problems, we present Autilent; an AI-powered, palm-sized device that can fit into a vehicle of any size, make, or model and assist the driver, especially over long routes. Making use of computer vision and machine learning and two onboard cameras ensures that the driver is attentive towards the road at all times while synchronizing it with the other vehicles and their movements to alert the driver in real-time in case of a probable accident. The pre-emptive approach allows for preventing accidents even before they happen rather than reactive reactions that are usually taken today in case of legal settlements and insurance claims. Daily, thousands of vehicles move in and out from the multiple entrances and exits located at different locations, and managing, monitoring, and keeping track of each individual vehicle is a task that is extremely difficult, even with multiple personnel deployed at each gate.An automated vehicle monitoring system was created to deploy over all the entrance and exit points. Powered by state-of-the-art technology, the solution was a combination of CCTV Cameras and intelligent algorithms that would automatically monitor each vehicle that enters and exits the premises along with its timestamp and date. Additionally, the make and model would also be recognized automatically and stored as information. Alongside, detailed analysis and reporting were provided that helped understand the movement pattern of vehicles, individually or overall. ### IDEM - Automated Face Recognition for Attendance IDEM is an automated facial detection and recognition attendance system which uses nothing more than just a CCTV camera to detect, recognize and verify an individual. A fully automated system then marks the attendance of the detected personnel. The system then notifies the individual about their attendance via an Email Alert. Just walk-in and walk-out without having to remember to mark your attendance and leave the hassle to IDEM.   Developed and designed the complete web Application frontend. The design phase consisted of the sitemaps, wireframes, low fidelity design and high fidelity mockups.The complete Face Recognition Technology is built in-house.  ### Aynuk Remote Assistance Aynuk is a product that aims to offer remote assistance to the front-line workers of any industry. It provides that assistance using a pair of intelligent glasses coupled with Artificial Intelligence - mainly Computer Vision, to offer smart object detection and information Analysis. The competitive edge for Aynuk is not the application itself, but the process through which information is transferred from the expert to the user. The Backend is hosted on an AWS EC2 Instance. ### Regwire Regwire is a centralized data sharing platform powered by Artificial Intelligence that would allow all the banks to share their data without compromising the privacy of their users using PET. Completed an end-to-end web application, with all three phases. Design of the front-end, and development of front-end and back-end. The backend was built on Node JS, using Postgres as the Database. All of the data kept in the database was encrypted with the private key of the Bank, and only the bank was able to decrypt the data to ensure that no user information has been leaked. The web portal also had a chat system, where the banks were able to communicate with other banks, to inquire regarding the Customers, whether or not they are identified as a PEP, or have any suspicious transactions or blocked accounts. The server was deployed on an Amazon EC2 instance. ### LearningPlus Learning Plus is a cross-platform mobile application that was built on Flutter by Google. This application includes in-app pdf and in-app video players to display resources to the students. Both of them are achieved using flutter libraries of youtube and pdf-downloader. The user starts by registering on the application and selecting the relevant grade. Based on the grade the subjects can be selected. A CMS is provided for the teacher to upload resources such as PDFs, Audio and video notes, and past papers. Once the data is uploaded to the CMS, the data is automatically displayed on both the mobile application and web portal. The backend of the entire application (both mobile and web) has been created using NodeJS and the Express Framework. The database is on Postgres. The application runs on both iOS and Android and has more than 10000 downloads.
