The Business Valuers is an independent business valuation practice based in Bristol, serving UK SMEs with turnovers from £500,000 to £20 million. Written valuation reports are fixed fee, from £495, and delivered within 72 hours of receiving the financial figures.
We are valuation specialists only. We do not sell businesses, so our figures carry no incentive to inflate or deflate. That independence gives our reports standing with HMRC, the courts, opposing shareholders and acquirers running due diligence.

Method: each report triangulates a normalised EBITDA earnings multiple, a net asset valuation and a discounted cash flow, benchmarked against comparable transactions in the client's sector. The basis of valuation is set out in full, so anyone challenging the figure can see exactly how it was reached.
The practice is led by James Nelson, with around 17 years in business brokerage and over 1,000 valuations delivered. He is a former Head of Corporate Sales at a national broker and Regional Sector Specialist at Christie & Co. We work directly with business owners and alongside their accountants and solicitors.
Where a business owns freehold property, we work from an agreed property value or value the business debt free, cash free, excluding the freehold.
