The Business Valuers

The Business Valuers is an independent business valuation firm based in Bristol, United Kingdom, serving SMEs across the UK with turnovers from £500,000 to £20 million. We provide fixed-fee written business valuation reports, typically £495, delivered within 72 hours of receiving financial figures.

We are valuation specialists only. We do not sell businesses, so our figures carry no incentive to inflate or deflate — the independence that gives our reports standing with HMRC, the courts, opposing shareholders and acquirers running due diligence.

The basis of valuation is set out in full, so anyone who later challenges the figure can see exactly how it was reached.

The practice is led by James Nelson, Founder and M&A Valuation Director, with 17 years in business brokerage, more than 1,000 valuations completed, and a period as Head of Corporate Sales at Christie & Co.
