2BI helped us remediate the findings from our PCI DSS audits and has supported our security infrastructure since then. They worked through the list of server vulnerabilities and configuration findings, hardened our server configurations, closed the identified issues and re-tested against the requirements the auditors had cited. Alongside that, they supported our security stack, including firewall policy design, IPS/IDS tuning and the server systems behind them, so that our perimeter and internal controls stay aligned with the standard as our environment changes. What started as a remediation project has continued as ongoing security and infrastructure support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All audit findings in scope were closed, with no open items at re-test. None of the remediation or security changes caused any impact on our banking services. Our security controls have stayed aligned with PCI DSS through the review cycles that followed.

We needed a corporate network built to last. It had to be segmented for regulatory compliance, resilient enough that a branch or link failure could not interrupt banking services, and structured so it could absorb years of growth in devices, services and traffic without a redesign.

The network architecture designed in 2010 is still in production more than 15 years later, without a redesign.

2BI designed and delivered our hotel's complete network infrastructure, from the core network to guest Wi-Fi covering the entire building: all guest rooms, the lobby, the Panorama Restaurant, our conference halls and back-office areas. They planned the network architecture, specified and configured the switching, routing and wireless equipment, and set up central management so guests can move between floors without losing their connection.
Guest, staff and hotel-system networks are fully separated, so guest traffic never reaches our internal systems. The cabling was done by a separate contractor, with 2BI specifying what the network required. Since the network went live about eight years ago, 2BI has maintained it for us, handling configuration changes, troubleshooting, monitoring and equipment upgrades whenever needed.

32 access points covering 125 guest rooms, 5 conference rooms and all public areas.

The original installation was delivered on schedule and planned around hotel operations, so work in guest areas did not disturb our guests. Since then, communication has been simple and direct: when we need a change or something stops working, we contact 2BI and they connect remotely or come on site quickly. Before larger events and conferences, they make sure the network is ready for the load. After eight years, the best measure of how they respond to our needs is that we have never had a reason to look for another partner.

The longevity of what they built. Our network was designed eight years ago and it still runs on the same architecture, through busy seasons, fully booked conferences and changing guest expectations. oobyte is a marketplace and rewards platform where members earn cash from engagement and referrals and withdraw it to their bank account or card, so the infrastructure behind it has to be reliable. 2BI designed and built that infrastructure for us. They designed our Kubernetes environment and deployed it on both AWS EKS and Azure AKS, with our dev and production environments running on AWS today. The entire setup is defined in Terraform, including cluster creation, networking, ingress and access control. They also built our continuous deployment pipeline from GitHub into the clusters using Argo CD, and they support us with monitoring, scaling and upgrades.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Dev and production are built from the same code, so environments cannot drift apart.

The same Kubernetes setup has been deployed on both AWS EKS and Azure AKS, keeping the platform portable between clouds.

We can now provision a complete cluster from code in about an hour, with no manual configuration. Dev and production are built from the same Terraform code, so the two environments don't drift apart and what we test is what we ship. Application releases go out automatically through Argo CD, and rolling back is a single step. Because the same setup has already been deployed on both AWS and Azure, we are not locked into a single cloud provider.

Communication with 2BI was direct and fast. We always had a clear picture of what was being built and why, and technical decisions were explained in terms we could act on rather than handed over as finished facts. Work was delivered on the timeline we agreed on, and when we needed changes or ran into issues, they responded quickly.

We build an AI platform for document-driven process automation, and most of our clients are financial institutions that require the software to run inside their own environment. 2BI handles that side of the business for us. They deploy our platform into each client environment, containerised with Docker and orchestrated on Kubernetes, and set up everything around it: cluster configuration, networking and storage, certificates, backup and access control. They also built the CI/CD pipelines that take new versions of our platform from our repository into client environments. Today they run eight environments for us across four countries, both on-premise and in the cloud, and handle monitoring, patching, upgrades and incident response on all of them.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Eight client environments in four countries, all running through the same standardised deployment process regardless of whether the client is on-premise or in the cloud. Before we worked this way, every installation was effectively a one-off. New releases now reach client environments through automated pipelines instead of manual installs, which shortened the gap between a version being ready on our side and clients actually running it. The outcome that matters most to us is that our own engineers are no longer pulled into per-client infrastructure work and stay on product development.

Having one team cover infrastructure, deployment and ongoing maintenance also means we are not coordinating three vendors to get a single installation live.

Business Integration and Business Intelligence has helped us increase our Google Search discoverability by 10x in this year's SEO improvement project. We measured this result based on the amount of impressions in Google Search Console.
