Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Ariad Partners, a growth agency that works with B2B companies to increase sales and drive more revenue. We provide creative and practical integrated marketing and sales services to software, technology, and professional services firms. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with BURG Translations?

We started engaging BURG shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic hit. As businesses went remote and in-person meetings were reduced to zero, many of our clients needed creative, safe, and effective ways to reach their prospective customers in global markets.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our clients have websites, marketing materials, and other product-related materials that should be translated into other languages. This way, they can reach their non-English speaking audiences in the US and internationally. BURG helps us with this.

Moreover, we work with businesses in the technology space, and they require specialized content. Given that, it’s extremely important that the content is translated properly, culturally sensitive, and aligned with the client's branding and tone. 

We hand off these projects to BURG since their translators are specialized and experienced in the technology industry. We have multiple documents that are translated into several languages. BURG can translate them into over 300 languages. 

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager, who works with specialized translators in various fields. 

How did you come to work with BURG Translations?

Our team researched translation companies online. I found BURG through their website.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $50,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in February 2020, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measure the impact of BURG’s services on a client-by-client basis and in revenues. While I can’t disclose specifics, we have yet to see any negative ROI for our clients in any translation projects BURG has completed for us. On top of that, their turnaround time greatly exceeds our clients’ expectations. 

How did BURG Translations perform from a project management standpoint?

BURG is on time and works within our budget all the time. For project management, we use Teamwork, Slack, and other apps. The team is willing to use what we’re using. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have over 85 years of experience in providing language translation services. They’re also ISO-certified, which means they’re held to the highest level of quality standards. That’s important for us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. We’ve had a great engagement, and that’s why we continue to push our clients toward BURG.
