I’m the president and CEO of GunKeepr LLC.

What challenge were you trying to address with BuildIT of AZ?

We had an investor that wanted to invest in my app. He wanted the existing code to be reviewed by somebody he knew and trusted. Hence, we hired David (Cloud Architecture Consultant) to review the code and conduct QA testing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

David helped us review the existing code of our app. He produced a report indicating that the code needed to be better, so our investor ended up backing out. We continued working with him to fix the code.

What is the team composition?

We were only in contact with David.

How did you come to work with BuildIT of AZ?

They were recommended to us by an investor. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $3,000 on the project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We worked together on the project from January–May 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

BuildIT of AZ did a good job of reviewing and trying to fix the code, but it seemed that they needed to do more because we weren’t able to fix the code. Whenever we thought it was fixed, it would just break again because it was poorly written. We'll probably have to spend more money to have it completely rewritten.

How did BuildIT of AZ perform from a product management standpoint?

They did a great job from a project management standpoint. They always met their deadlines, and we communicated with them via phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their transparency, honesty, and work ethic were unmatched. Their coding skills were also excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any complaints regarding BuildIT of AZ’s work.

Any advice for potential customers?

Participate in conversations, especially during the discovery phase, as much as possible.
