Building Blocks Executive Search provides executive search for growth-stage health tech and life sciences companies. Searches are personally led by Troy Frank, bringing 25+ years of executive search experience.
The firm works with founders, CEOs, VC talent partners, and PE operating partners on executive leaders, heads of function, and critical senior hires. Experience spans commercial leadership, product, clinical technology, analytics, market access, real-world data, and strategic data science, including customer-facing technical teams.
Every engagement starts with a clear business need, agreed role requirements, and a view of the candidate market. AI-enabled research identifies relevant companies and adjacent markets; Troy assesses which experience will transfer. He personally leads outreach, candidate assessment, and advice through the hiring decision, working on a limited number of searches at a time.
Published historical results include 150+ leadership placements, 92% search completion, and 95% retention, with typical searches reaching offer in 4–6 weeks.
