Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the VP & Head of Products at Netmeds. Before that owned JustDoc and later was acquired by Netmeds.com. Have also been listed in Forbes Under30 Asia.

Netmeds.com is a fully licensed e-pharma portal that offers authenticated prescription and Over the Counter (OTC) serving more than 6 million customers in more than 700 cities and towns.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Bruvvv?

We hired Bruvvv to revamp our iOS/Android app and website as our existing mobile app and website reached its limit, and we wanted a creative agency/players who could help us achieve new height of user engagement and retention on the app and website.

What were your goals for this project?

The main objectives for this project was:

1. To enhance and simplify the user flow
2. Completely revamp the Netmeds app and website interface so that in the end we have a more unified user interface and design system.
3. We were looking for original design, which will stand out from the rest of the pharmacy apps and meet customer’s requirements at the same time.

SOLUTION

How did you select Bruvvv?

We pulled a list of about 5-6 agencies across India, and Bruvvv responded to our RFP very swiftly. Besides the fact that they were a smaller team, what stuck out to me was their approach on how they didn’t focus on telling us what they thought we wanted to hear. Instead, they were pretty candid on telling what would actually work for our customers and target audiences.

Describe the project in detail.

Initially, Bruvvv did a lot of discovery to figure out what our business was, what the problems would be, how the target audience and users would approach the app and website, and what their requirements would be. 

The team then worked upon the wireframes that gave us a clear picture of the user flow and the steps that can be trimmed or tweaked as needed. Really simplifying the user experience for the product.

Finally, Bruvvv worked upon the high fidelity design for the app and website, giving the product the final look and feel. The whole project turned out to be flawless and smooth which made us hire Bruvvv from one-time project basis to monthly retainer partnership.

What was the team composition?

We worked with Ayush (Creative Director), and he’s an incredible project manager, and did such a good job managing the project from the start till the deliverables, despite such a really tight deadline to begin with.

We were in touch with the 2 designers as well who were easy to talk to and they made sure that every design feedback has been addressed on time. We had daily sync up calls, which helped us to soft launch the app and website ahead of schedule. It was a pretty impressive and charismatic team to work with.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Prior to working with Bruvvv, we were not having much engagement online as compared to our competitors. Now, our conversion and retention rates have increased, and we’re so happy with their guidance and work.

Bruvvv was really able to cut through every issues and build a great cohesive design ecosystem. We also continue to receive positive reactions about the product usability till yet. Every small change in user flow Bruvvv has implemented helps the user journey and experience to be a bit better.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Bruvvv as a team was very reactive and proactive throughout the project which led to a well-designed product achieving the desired KPI’s.

There’s a high level of communication which happened between Bruvvv and our developers which turened out to be very helpful for us to soft launch the product with new designs before the expected deadline. Overall, Bruvvv has delivered quality, reliable, and professionally built digital product.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What was most impressive was their approach on how they didn’t focus on telling us what they thought we wanted to hear. Instead, they were pretty candid on telling what would actually work for our customers and target audiences. They were the experts.

Another most impressive quality of Bruvvv was their ability to grasp the complexity of our business quickly, understand the market and then approach our product accordingly. The team was easy to reach out and then their swift reply on our every feedback. I really felt like they went above and beyond for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, not for this particular project. They recognized when they missed the mark on certain things and corrected themselves. If they felt we weren’t moving far enough along the journey, they’d push us, too. It was all very collaborative.
