Our owner, Jim Scherr, has been active in buying, developing, operating, and managing just about every type of real estate investment since 1976. In 1978, he founded The Broker Company to overlook his growing portfolio of properties; later in 1989, Jim Scherr acquired One Texas Tower located in the heart of downtown El Paso, on of the city's most iconic buildings since its completion of 1921. The 13th floor of this historic building is the home office of The Broker Company.
