BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We sell walk-in showers and bathtubs. We’re an aggressive company and leaders in our industry, with control of 70% of the market. Our dealership owns the distribution rights for eight Northwest states and all of Canada. I’m the director of sales and am the longest serving individual in our industry.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Broadside Digital Intellegence (BDI)?

We were underperforming in traditional TV and print media and our web leads were becoming less effective. We were seeing two bad leads for every good one and our costs continued to rise with other companies. We wanted an agency to help us generate more leads and improve our conversion rates.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide web leads that drop directly into our CRM. They got deeply involved with our business and our needs. We gave them all of our buyers for several years back and filtered through all of our database to find commonalities in their buying habits and their web activity. They came up with potential consumers that duplicated our buyers and dramatically improved our results.

We were impressed by their engagement and they far exceeded our expectations. We started out just working with them in Canada, but they did so well that our corporate headquarters hired them to supply leads for the entire organization across the whole continent.

How did you come to work with Broadside Digital Intellegence (BDI)?

BDI approached us. We looked over their offerings and discovered that their lead generation style was unique. Other companies were content to give us quantity over quality, but BDI was determined to give us qualified leads that were real people. We were impressed by what they had to offer and decided to work with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2015. The relationship is ongoing and they’re the major supplier of our leads in Canada.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Prior to working with them, our typical web leads were becoming less and less effective but costing more and more. Our growth with BDI has been phenomenal. We’re really a lead generating company with a widget that happens to be walk-in bathtubs and showers. Our leads affect our whole business and overall revenue.

Since working with them, we’ve seen a 40% reduction in our acquisition costs and our growth is 20% over target. We see growth across Canada with the bulk of our leads and their methods are working very well for us.

How did Broadside Digital Intellegence (BDI) perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very responsive and their documentation is excellent. I can reach out to any one of them via e-mail or telephone and they're back in touch with me instantly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a unique approach. They design leads to mimic or replicate our existing buyers. Much of our clientele has already had a fall, but we asked them to reach out to younger people for preventative measures, in addition to the clients who use our products for restorative purposes. They really listen to our needs and do an excellent job for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything bad to say about them. We’d love them to continue to bring us more leads.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When I first looked at their package, I had never seen anyone offer anything like it before. I was a little skeptical, but they did everything they promised and more. They’re professionals and don’t skip a beat. Trust them to give you what you need.
