What was the scope of their involvement?
They presented us with a list of keywords that were relevant to our target market. It was basically a whole bouquet of options to choose from. Since we are a niche program – we’re not a tutoring program but an afterschool school – our criteria were slightly different. It was very important to create that point of differentiation from our perceived competition, and they did a great job of doing that.
One aspect was digital advertising, which includes our social media platforms, management, PPC, and SEO, and we’re also partnering with them to develop our main website. We wanted to upgrade the site so it was in line with the requirements our customers have in terms of being able to find a campus easily. This meant location services and other live forms. These forms help parents conveniently get in touch with our campuses and set up interviews. They also integrated the site with our CRM. They’ve been instrumental in turning our wish list of functionalities into reality.
How did you come to work with BrandLume Inc.?
We already knew Raham (President & CEO, BrandLume Inc.). We’d worked with them briefly beforehand to optimize our current website, which was getting slow and sluggish and not optimized for speed. That was in 2019.
When our current need arose, he told us that it was something he could help us with. We invited them to submit a proposal, along with other companies, and, honestly, BrandLume’s was the best. Not only in terms of cost but also in terms of monthly service selections we could add on and remove. We thought this was extremely convenient. Other companies wanted us to make one- or two-year commitments.
On top of the flexibility, we saw the amount of work they were able to do on the backend in terms of optimization and keywords, so we thought BrandLume would be the best investment for us. They also seemed to have a lot of knowledge and strategies on how to effectively achieve the KPIs we’d set for the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
