We needed someone to help us take our businesses to the next level and apply good business practices.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innövation Inc has helped us from A to Z. They started by taking a look at where our business was to define where we wanted to go. Innövation Inc came in and found out what our culture is, what we’re doing now, and how we’re doing business. Then, they showed us how to go from where we are to where we need to be, including the path and steps to get there.

Initially, they identified the main issues in our business; it took us 30 seconds to answer that question. From that, Innövation Inc whittled it down to the number one thing we needed to address. Afterward, they set up a plan within an hour and a half.

They’ve helped us with the brand identity for one of our businesses. They’ve helped me and my partner solve problems and see that we’ll always be a small business if we carry on in the same way instead of having access to the brand power that we get with them. We’ve seen how our business can continually grow at a safe rate or a moderately fast rate if we want to.

Moreover, Innövation Inc has helped us implement best business practices to ensure we don’t revert back to the non-profitable way. We constantly have coaching mentorships from Innövation Inc to ensure we stay on track with what we’re supposed to do.

We began working with them in February 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve definitely seen an increase in efficiency. We’ve also seen an increase in our brand awareness target market and a process that’ll lead to an increase due to a change in marketing. Overall, Innövation Inc knows our business and what we need and desire. They’ve held our hand throughout the process.

How did Innövation Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. They’ve been extremely receptive to our feedback and incorporating our ideas. Moreover, they’re a constant voice, seeing where we are on a task and providing us with great information or an opportunity. 

We communicate via phone or online channels; they’re always responsive. We also use project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their sheer business intelligence is their strongest point. Innövation Inc has the ability to formulate a plan to take your business where you want to be. They also have well-rounded knowledge; it’s impressive that such a small number of people have that much knowledge and wisdom. We’re used to companies with far more people.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They ask that all the time, but we haven’t found anything yet.

To get what you’re looking out of the project, pay attention to what they tell you and do the tasks they give you.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Brand+Aide could have done differently?

The AltMBA has variable timing which can be tricky when the time shifts. Sometimes the lessons last the whole 90 minutes, leaving little time to experiment collectively.
