I’m the head of marketing for Hallow, a Christian and Catholic prayer and meditation application.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Branch?

We were trying to figure out a better way to add deep links to our email and fix our overall attribution across our web and mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Branch provides us with deep linking support. They’re also helping us integrate the SDK into our entire application. This includes integrations with our CDP and CRM, which run on Segment and Iterable, respectively.

What is the team composition?

We work with four people from their team: a salesperson, an account manager, an implementation manager, and a customer support specialist.

How did you come to work with Branch?

I had previously worked with Branch on different mobile app projects. I had a great experience working with them, so we decided to hire them for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September 2021, and it’s still an ongoing engagement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been able to completely do deferred deep linking across Facebook and other ad accounts, which has lowered our tax on Android by 20%–30%.

How did Branch perform from a project management standpoint?

We have monthly phone calls with their team. Also, we can quickly get in touch with them for support via phone call or email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their tech support is impressive — whenever we have any major issues, we can easily contact them for help. In addition, their SDK is a lot more lightweight and up-to-date compared to other competitors, which is awesome.

Are there any areas they could improve on?

They can make their internal dashboards more user-friendly.
