The web development side is responsible for updating and maintaining the overall health and performance our our Magento site. This includes but is not limited to:

• Updating the Magento code based and applying security patches.

Our work with Brainvire is ongoing and the list of deliverables is long. Below is a list of some of the larger deliverables:

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For web development; We saw significant stability improvements after server migration while reducing hardware requirements and overall hosting costs. When pushing the 2.4.6 magento update from 2.4.3 to live we saw a near seamless transition which is a significant improvement from our last 2 developers prior to Brainvire. Everything was performing as expected with only 1 or 2 minor fixes needed.

For the most part every task we have assigned Brainvire's magento development team with has been completed as expected, on time, and within budget with little to no rework. For PPC; ROI on ad spend improved significantly from the campaign restructuring within weeks. Conversion increased by 100% while reducing conversion cost by 30%.

Both project managers for web development and PPC are extremely responsive and willing to fulfill any special requests we ask of them. For the most part all projects are finished on time unless unforeseen circumstances complicate the task.

The CEO is very friendly and strives to build solid relationships with his clients. We are not a large client but he still takes the time to meet in person when he is in town. Their partnership-building philosophy flows down to the entire team, which makes us feel like we matter.

The only area we feel Brainvire needs some improvement on is in SEO. We have spent years doing our own SEO and often find we are capable of producing better content than they are. That said, we operate in a very niche industry and are experts in our field. It would take someone on Brainvire's team to really take the time to learn about the products we sell before their content would be as good as our is internally.

I've worked with a large number of off-shore companies in the past 27 years. Brainvire is the best off-shore company I have ever worked with in the past. They really do have their act together, and they perform better than many of the on-shore teams I have partnered with as well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Brainvire Infotech Inc could have done differently?

The biggest challenge with BV or any off-shore company to the US is the time difference and how we deal with it. Our only challenges were related to the 9.5 hour difference in time and getting support later in the day US time. This was not a major problem, and if we felt it was I believe BV would do their best to accommodate our needs by shifting work schedules.

The app can control the volume of the hearing aids, turn on noise cancellation, and a user can choose between different listening environments. Brainvire Infotech Inc has also created a navigation bar on the home page to go to other parts of the application. 

They’ve created a content page with information about hearing loss, including blogs and videos. The app is integrated with SHOEBOX, a third-party solution for taking a hearing test. Users can connect with audiologists via WhatsApp based on the hearing test results.

Brainvire's hard work and dedication to do whatever it takes to achieve our client's success was easily their most impressive trait. They gave us a very strong engineering lead who worked tirelessly and selflessly to meet our goals, and the long hours and persistence of their engineers and QA got us over the hump.

Brainvire's client-facing executives, including CEO Chinta, were always accessible and made a special effort to meet us face-to-face on multiple occasions over the duration of the project.

Brainvire Infotech Inc has helped us develop our Android and iOS apps’ MVP, and they’re currently working on the second version of our app. They work as our external development team.

We had a base code developed by a previous company, but it wasn’t adequate. We needed a dynamic code since we’re a startup in the scale and growth process. Brainvire Infotech Inc has corrected the coding on the native app and our admin panel for third-party partners. They’ve realized a lot of backend development for our platform to grow. 

Brainvire Infotech Inc has developed different facets for both the project’s hardware and software pieces. They use Angular for front- and backend development and work with dashboards and databases.

Moreover, Brainvire Infotech Inc has developed new core features required to change the code structure. Our platform consists of software and hardware. Brainvire Infotech Inc has developed features that require a connection through an API with hardware or software components and integrated into our vehicles as needed. 

Brainvire Infotech Inc has integrated third-party hardware components into our vehicles. For instance, we use a Telematics hardware piece to gather data about our vehicles and drivers. This piece allows us to represent this data in our app, and we can monitor different aspects, including our vehicles’ location, if drivers wear seatbelts, or if they stop harshly or drive fast. 

Brainvire Infotech Inc has also helped us with data analysis tasks related to our energy charge cycles in stations. Their knowledge and skill set is an integral part of the project.

We developed the proof of concept (POC) with the first development company we worked with. However, we never got to successfully launch our product to the market. Brainvire Infotech Inc has developed an MVP that we can use to engage with partners and potential investors. Our biggest success is having a functioning app that can actually manage the expectation of what our POC was supposed to be.

Moreover, Brainvire Infotech Inc meets deadlines and delivers work in a timely manner. We collaborate daily on Jira and communicate through Slack, which has allowed us to eliminate the communication gap we had with the previous company. 

We have daily stand-ups and weekly sprint planning meetings through Google Meet. Brainvire Infotech Inc’s team has active communication and prioritizes our project, which is another advantage of working with a team that doesn’t rotate.

I’m most impressed with Brainvire Infotech Inc’s ability to think past the development process. They’ve assisted us greatly in our thought process and discovery phase to identify improvement areas in our product management. Brainvire Infotech Inc has been a great development partner, challenging our thinking to develop a better product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Every relationship comes with a challenge, and our biggest challenge with Brainvire Infotech Inc has been the timezone difference and the language barrier. However, I’m aware this isn’t something they can change. We have excellent communication despite the time difference, and they’re quick in resolving issues.

Moreover, another improvement aspect for Brainvire Infotech Inc is that, on some occasions, they could take more time to understand a task before jumping into it. They’re usually quick to deliver and very engaged with doing a good job. However, taking a step back to fully understand the task could help alleviate some of those extra hours we sometimes use.

I recommend planning your project properly before approaching Brainvire Infotech Inc. Communication is key, and as long as you have a good communication structure, you’ll have a successful relationship with Brainvire Infotech Inc.
