What challenge were you trying to address with BoringBI?

We needed help analyzing our data to give us a deeper understanding of our budgeting and execution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BoringBI has connected our Tradify job management data and manual purchase and payment records into a single unified reporting layer for the first time. Before the work started, they sat down with us to understand what decisions we were trying to make, including budget control, trade account management, payment tracking, and project cost visibility. BoringBI has restructured how we document costs to create a consistent input layer. The team has also built a Power BI dashboard on top of it, giving us live visibility into project KPIs we’ve never been able to track before. The reporting is designed around how we work, not a generic construction template. The main deliverables are a unified data source combining Tradify and our own records and a Power BI dashboard covering active project costs against the budget, payment patterns, trade relationships, and a full operational overview that now refreshes in minutes rather than taking a full day to pull together manually.

Thanks to BoringBI's work, we have far better cash flow. Our adherence to project budgets has improved by 18%.
