I’m Ibram X. Kendi. I write books, dig into history and founded the Center for Antiracist Research over at Boston University.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

I wanted to build a clean, responsive site that actually represents what I’m about and the work I do. So they created homepage, showcases for my books and events and media section, got all the content flowing smoothly and set up a backend so I can handle updates on my own when new stuff comes out.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My site’s been doing really well because: 

·         More visitors are showing up and spending time on the site

·         My books and media are getting a lot more visibility

·         People are reaching more and signing up for events, dropping messages

·         It really strengthened my brand as a writer and researcher

·         Way more accessible for educators and anyone looking to work together

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I worked with Rebecca as my project manager and she was seriously great. Really down to earth, always proactive about stuff and super detail oriented. I was in loop for every update. She handled all our conversations and revisions as they happened and delivered everything before the deadline hit. I personally like her communication style, just easy to follow, consistent and she quickly handle turnaround whenever I need revisions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I really loved about Book Publisher Hub was how they actually got what I'm trying to do. They didn’t just see this as another website project. They understood my mission as an author and created something that goes way beyond just looking good. It communicates what I stand for and helps me reach more people and also creates real connection with readers all over the world. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Book Publishers Hub could have done differently?

Everything worked flawlessly. I’d love to see them continue try out the newest web tools and tricks to make future sites even more interactive and just give readers a better overall vibe.
