I’m the head of design at Plot. We offer a next-generation marketing operating system that leverages video intelligence to provide social media insights.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bone Studio?

We needed to launch a video for a new product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bone Studio created a 40-second animated video with a voiceover.

Someone referred Bone Studio to me, and I liked their work.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June–August 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched the product or video yet, but whoever we’ve shown it to immediately gets what the product does.

How did Bone Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project took a bit longer than expected because we had additional feedback and sometimes delayed providing feedback on our end. However, Bone Studio was very responsive and worked quickly. We communicated via slack

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bone Studio was fast, communicative, and had great taste and craft. The team was also extremely receptive to feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One part of the video felt too fast and had too much motion, so it was hard to understand what was going on. We gave Bone Studio that feedback, and they tried a few things, but the same problem remained. I think they could’ve iterated in a broader sense rather than making tiny tweaks. The animation was fun, but if the viewer can’t tell what’s going on, it defeats the purpose. Once I mocked something in Figma, they were able to go off that and deliver quickly.
