Where it All Started
Boise Metal Works was spawned from Boise Spring Works, which had been founded by Charlie Borup in 1917. Boise Spring Works was in the Borup family for four generations and had created a great reputation for vehicle suspension and metal smithing in the Treasure Valley. Burke Borup (Charlie’s grandson) and Jeremy Borup (Burkes Son) had the idea that they could leverage their metal smithing reputation and start a new journey, founding Boise Metal Works in 1994.
