In 1985, Dave Bohren started the first Bohren operations on the North side of Chicago, Illinois. Within a short time, he expanded to add LTL transportation to his already well established flat bed division. Within five years, Bohren relocated operations to Auburn, Indiana to better serve a broader customer base. He eventually built his own 120,000 square foot modern facility in Garrett, Indiana where the corporate headquarters now reside.
