What challenge were you trying to address with BLK INK?

I needed help with social media marketing. I had a message and vision that I wanted to deliver through social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BLK INK created my Facebook and Instagram profiles. They did photoshoots and posting for social media marketing purposes.

What is the team composition?

I first met with their business development manager and the owner. I worked with the account manager after we signed the contract.

How did you come to work with BLK INK?

I was with another marketing agency, and their services were way over my budget. That company referred me to BLK INK.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $2,000 for four posts.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–February 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

BLK INK’s service was terrible. They couldn’t even come up with the tagline for my company. We agreed on four social media posts per week, and it took them a month and a half to actually do these four posts. There were days when they didn’t post anything.

In addition to that, they ended up being expensive. It was a terrible experience.

How did BLK INK perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication with the project manager was good. However, the communication with the business development manager was terrible.

The initial plan was to start social media two weeks before the website launched. Due to slow communication and some delays in the photoshoots, we pushed this back. We started our social media three days after the website launched.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The photoshoot was good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

BLK INK’s team didn’t have marketing skills.

Any advice for potential customers?

Don’t deal with them.
