Birmingham Air Freight OnLine continues trying to give good service at a reasonable price, and have watched a lot of cartage companies come and go in the years we have been here. Birmingham Air Freight, Inc. was started in September 1976. We (Dick and Anita Craig) were previously employed by Knoxville Air Cargo in Knoxville, Tenessee as the managers. When we got the opportunity to come to Birmingham, Alabama and start a company of our own we were both excited and scared.
Paul Diddy who was the ACI representative for the Southeast told us of the opening and here we are thirty-three years later. When we began here Dick was thirty and I was twenty-five.
