The Bighorn Sheep has deep roots in Montana’s history and culture. A legend of how the Bighorn River received it’s name lends us an understanding of this magnificent creature and why we chose it to represent our company, Big Horn Real Estate Co. The legend tells the story of a boy who had fallen from a canyon wall and survived. He was rescued by a group of bighorn sheep and in the legend, they gifted the boy “power, wisdom, sharp eyes, sure footedness, keep ears, great strength and a strong heart”.
