Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Karen consulted with our learning and development team, CEO, and Head of HR to design a culture building workshop for our senior managers and an executive workshop to prime the conversation around our new core values during their annual offsite. This work included conversations with the senior managers to gain their reflections and prime their mindsets for the workshop and to inform the executive session.

 The 6-hour culture-building workshop for senior managers included interactive exercises and group activities throughout the day with fun, surprise-and-delight moments and lively discussions. Karen designed a custom handbook and table decorations with our core values. 

The 2.5 hour executive session covered the culture-building concepts and sparked lively and insightful conversation with takeaways to guide thinking throughout the rest of the offsite as we worked to improve our business through the lens of our core values.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our senior managers are using the culture building language and focus around their initiatives and in their conversations, exhibiting their understanding that culture building has to be intentional.

The senior managers are still building the initiatives that came out of the workshop with Beyond Culture and actively suggesting ways to ingrain our values into our culture. There has been a 100% increase in focus on culture-building, especially psychological safety among the executive leadership team.

Beyond Culture was really great to work with and kept me on track, always delivering on time and clearly defining timelines and suggesting best approach for the initiatives we wanted to accomplish. We had a tight timeline for the ask, but Beyond Culture delivered timely and exceeded expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The care and thoughtfulness that went into the projects. They were extremely custom and Beyond Culture took the extra time to speak with the participants in advance to ensure a quality experience and good fit for our audience. The questions Karen asked were insightful and provoked some good thought among our leaders even during the planning process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Beyond Culture, LLC could have done differently?

No improvements needed. This was an amazing experience an such a professional and impactful relationship.
