Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Golden Gate, a financial services company. We enable users to diversify their portfolio into three main areas: precious metals (gold, silver, and platinum) managed in one account, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum), and investment funds that rely on time-tested strategies instead of short-term trends.

What challenge were you trying to address with behavin?

We needed help developing a secure crypto infrastructure (connecting crypto/payment rails) for simple DCA for our clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

behavin has helped me structure the technical side of the project. In terms of development, we’ve always split the work into multiple sprints and prioritized tasks. The main deliverables include:

• Creating a stable and secure platform enabling investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Supporting ongoing savings using the DCA method
• Integrating multiple exchanges (Kraken, Coinmate, etc.) for the best prices and market stability
• Enabling clients to securely transfer cryptocurrencies to their hardware wallets
• Enabling a custodial solution for long-term, secure, and insured storage of clients’ crypto funds
• Supporting full auditability and a long-term compliance framework
• Enabling fiat transactions (pairing payments with banks and card payments)
• Enabling crypto transaction processing (crypto deposits and withdrawals)
• Ensuring stable operation and support (SLA)

I met behavin at a social event. I chose them because they were close to my geographic location, and we clicked both personally and professionally.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with behavin in December 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

behavin has developed the requested features, and they’re working. Thanks to the software, we can serve almost 20,000 clients buying, selling, and custodizing crypto with us.

How did behavin perform from a project management standpoint?

behavin mostly delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
