We were founded in 1875 by Joseph Price (the great grandfather of the current directors), in the trade of nail making, operating a simple forge in an outhouse at the family home. During the 1940s, the business diversified into forging specialised galvanized steelwork for the overhead line electricity and telecommunications industries which still represents the bulk of the company's production to this day.
