Bairn is a multi-disciplinary media studio founded in 2017 headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The studio is most known for heartfelt, soulful, and genre-bending narrative media.
Bairn goes astray of the trend to develop TV / Digital advertisements to push products or services onto consumers. Instead, Bairn focuses on word of mouth advertisement, and referrals through co-creation of compelling, high-end, narrative-driven original media such as micro-documentaries, documentaries, commercials, film & TV series and experiential events. Our focus is to accurately share people’s culture, history, and present vision to help connect the hearts of audiences and brands through memorable, timeless media.
History:
From humble beginnings as a basement film studio to a home in the entertainment industry today, Bairn proudly continues a legacy of creating world-class stories and touching, memorable experiences for every member of the family across the world. Bairn was founded in 2017 by Thomas & Evans Nguyen, second generation Vietnamese American immigrants. Their families moved from Vietnam to pursue a better life. Amongst other communities affected by war, Thomas & Evans’ families have experienced the after effects of intolerance, misunderstanding, and indiscriminate conflict. In effort to help shape a brighter world, Thomas & Evans believe story-telling can be a powerful method to bridge cultural/personal understanding and inspire positive action.
Why was Bairn created?
We created Bairn because of our burning desire to do timeless, ethical, challenging, and purposeful work through storytelling and inspire future generations in positive ways.
