We've toyed with PR & journalisim on and off over the years. It's expensive and time consuiming and more often than not, dissappointing. Then we decided to work smarter and only go with strategies with guaranteed results. I have not been dissapointed! It's so reassuring to know our content is going to land where it needs to land, 100% every time.

It's so fast and effective too. No months waiting for PR agencies to land a journalist. It just works. I love the creative freedom that is afforded the brand to cover such a wide range of headlines. Our brand is very early in, so we're yet to see just how effective the backlinks are at driving results, but it's looking good so far. It's also nice to have the credability of having our brand featured prominently in mainstream media publications.

As we were rebranding our company, we sought to Baden Bower for PR hits. We were looking for some notoriety with reputable publications to share about why we were doing the rebrand. We did not want to have an ongoing retainer, rather be able to build a package that was more suitable for our needs. 

Within 2 days, we met with them, received a proposal and were onboarded for our campaign. Baden Bower provided a proposal that included a total of 6 articles to be published over the course of 2 months.

3. Compassiviste - articles about the art-based social movement and its programs 

The deliverables are to publish these articles on a monthly basis to the publications that havebeen contractually agreed upon at the onset. At this point, Baden Bower has successfully published the first month's articles according to the contractual obligation.

1. As of the articles' publishing, "Compassiviste" and "Compassiviste Publishing" and "Compassiviste Foundation" are ranking higher in Google searches. 
2. As of the articles' publishing, Compassiviste Foundation has seen significantly more traffic and slightly more donations. 
3. As of the articles' publishing, Compassiviste Foundation has been able to place these high value publications on our website, increasing validity and verifiability to our visitors and audience. 
4. As of the articles' publishing, Compassiviste Foundation has been able to showcase some of its programs, books, and ideals while raising brand awareness through high reader publications.

Baden Bower has been impeccably prompt and punctual. They initially created a workflow system through google docs which we use to stay on top of the work. The communication is smooth and immediate. There are different members to address different queries. 

Mainly, we have been signed an account journalist who works with us to draft the articles before submitting them for review and approval. Once this is done, we move onto the next article. As the articles are published, we receive an email with a link to the published article as agreed.

The most unique aspect which I have never experienced anywhere else is the fact that Baden Bower presents you with press packages to choose from and accordingly they present you with a series of publications to choose from and a timeline for their publishing. 

Once you have selected the publications and organized a chronological schedule then it becomes an ongoing plan to ensure that the articles are ready for publishing during this calendar. It is systematic and precise PR without any promises that cannot be delivered. The most impressive part is that Baden Bower places this all in their contractual obligation.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Baden Bower could have done differently?

When I first found out about them, Compassiviste Foundation was not ready to sign the contract. By the time I was ready to sign the contract 4 months had elapsed and they were offering less than half the amount of articles for the same price and duration. 

Though it is still a reasonable price considering other PR agencies' ability to guarantee publication in these highly ranked magazines, I would have preferred a better price-point given that it would have cost us less than half of our current contract.

It would be great to know potential blockers beforehand, but then again, we understand that it's beyond the control most of the time.
