I'm the founder of Topbeat, a global online music school. We teach musical instruments to kids worldwide through a one-on-one live learning model. We’re located in India.

What challenge were you trying to address with BabaPinnak?

We wanted to hire an agency to handle our advertisement, mainly on Google.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BabaPinnak worked on keyword research and paid campaigns on Google. They did end-to-end keyword research, from defining an ideal customer profile to creating different ads, including text and banner ads. Also, they were responsible for tracking end-to-end funnels, right from the consumer who clicks on the advertisement to optimizing PPC campaigns. Initially, we only gave them a brief with the customers’ profile, age group, economic background, and location.

They also did the copywriting and searched for the right images.

We worked with the founder; he worked with freelancers.

Someone referred them to me.

We spent roughly $6,000 in total.

The project management and communication were good. Our contact was readily available even on weekends. We mainly communicated through WhatsApp. Additionally, we used Google Docs and Sheets for project management; they provided reports on our ads and walked us through them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cost-effectiveness was their strongest point. They charged us $500 a month for work that would cost s anywhere between $3,000–5,000.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should have other add-on services, like Facebook ads. They were just doing Google ads, but they could provide a bouquet of services in this space.

Any advice for potential customers?

Keep the creative part in-house, but outsource your ads to them. They’re experts in that area.
