Early in 2022 we started building our EU sales team, and opened Sales Manager vacancies in Austria and Germany. As the labour markets of these countries were pretty new to us, we decided to work with a recruitment agency. We had one partner first, but the number of candidates we got from them wasn't enough to build the team within planned timelines, and we started looking for another partner. This is how we met Avomind.

This was a turning point in the whole process! Already on the first call with Olena I could feel that she understood what kind of profiles we needed. She immediately grasped it! So, I felt very comfortable to give it a try with Avomind. Right after the call we started getting CVs, and the level of candidates was really high.

Seriously, I don't know how they generate so many great candidates, but I had a feeling that they can send new CVs endlessly :) I managed to close all my open roles with their help, and was super comfortable to recommend them to other colleagues internally. As a result, our marketing team started working with Avomind, too, and they helped us hire our first Brand Strategist in the DACH region. I'm very happy with this partnership.

Our company was very rapidly expanding its Investment Team and was under pressure to quickly acquire a bunch of new companies. Thus, we had to find highly qualified M&A and investment banking professionals of different seniority levels.

Besides just finding these types of professionals it was also a difficult task to get those folks to buy into the high growth story of the company as they are used to very high cash salaries. In addition to their investment banking experience the candidates had to show evidence of their entrepreneurial mindset. This combination is fairly difficult to find. Avomind helped us identifying those talents and got them to buy into our story.

As mentioned time was a critical factor for us. Nick, the founder of Avomind, understood our brief very quickly and developed the respective role descriptions. Further, we had the feeling that he really understood what it takes to build a rapidly scaling team.
