Avella Consulting

R. Avella IT Consulting is a remote DevSecOps, SRE, and platform practice in Bogotá. We standardize delivery on AWS and Azure: secure CI/CD, GitOps, observability, and compliance that holds up in an audit.

Services
- Secure CI/CD with SAST, DAST, SCA, and policy checks, plus least privilege and secrets hygiene.
- SRE: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident response, and GitOps with Argo CD, Linkerd, and Istio.
- Hybrid AWS and Azure: identity, networking, compute, and data under one governance model.
- FinOps tied to the architecture, so the bill drops with the design.
- Audits and migrations aligned to HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- MLOps and agent workflows (Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure ML) with a human gate inside CI.

Results
Multi-region, SOC 2-ready migrations cut deployment time by up to 60% and cloud cost by up to 40%. At Project44, 17 development teams ran Datadog on their own across 200+ microservices. Delivery also includes MGM Resorts, Adidas, Perficient, TransUnion, an Azure estate of 50+ pipelines with a zero-downtime GitHub Enterprise migration, and a healthcare IoT platform still running an ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR-aligned SSDLC.

Engagement
100% remote, with U.S. and LATAM hours. Typical work is a pipeline standard, a migration, a reliability program, or a fixed review of CI/CD, cloud spend, or compliance.
