The company’s signature presentation is the beloved New Year’s Concert, Salute to Vienna. Presented annually in more than 20 major concert halls from the Lincoln Center to Roy Thomson Hall, this concert series celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2015. Salute to Vienna returned to the city of its inspiration in 2014 with over 100 intimate Operetta in Concert performances at Vienna's prestigious Wiener Konzerthaus. The company’s largest Salute to Vienna production, filmed at the Konzerthaus for public television in 2013 has aired over 1000 times. Co-hosted by Academy Award-winner Maximilian Schell, and mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade, this televised performance featured the Vienna Boys Choir and world-renowned singers including British tenor, Russell Watson. For their tireless dedication and passion in cultivating and promoting Viennese musical traditions, co-founders Marion and Attila Glatz were awarded the Austrian Government’s Decoration of Merit in Gold.
